Learn Leadership from Women Founders in the Plant-Based Revolution
“Women dominate food tech in the Asia Pacific”
“The future is female” the Good Food Institute declared recently and that women dominate food tech in Asia Pacific. Join us at our CRF panel discussion at 7 pm on Wednesday 30th March to hear insights on leadership from women who founded and succeeded at firms in the plant-based sector.
Indeed, the plant- food sector has plenty to celebrate. One woman, for example, created Asia's first plant-based whole egg substitute, OnlyEg, which is amongst the first to achieve a true likeness to a real chicken egg with both the yolk and the white. Another helped bring Omnipork products to menus at McDonald’s, Crystal Jade and even 7-Eleven. And women leaders abound at other firms too.
To learn how women got into the industry and led their companies to success, CRF is bringing together a panel of women leaders in the plant-based revolution who will share their insights and experience. Panelists will talk about their paths to the plant-based food industry, practices that helped them succeed, how they overcame barriers placed in their way and what they look for in the future.
You’ll come away with ideas and insights that can help you in your own career. While the focus is on plant-based foods and the discussion will benefit women as well as men in that sector, leadership skills are applicable anywhere. The women who lead these businesses are truly inspiring.
