Take your Restaurant Meals to new Heights
Choosing a vegan or vegetarian restaurant used to be easy. There were few choices, so being plant-based meant going to the same places fairly often. Vegan dishes at hotel restaurants were few and far between.
Now, however, almost every restaurant in Singapore has vegetarian or vegan options on the menu. The number of stand-alone vegan restaurants has grown and more are popping up all the time. Almost every hotel restaurant has at least a few plant-based options. Some of the high-end Michelin-starred restaurants have full plant-based menus. And even burger joints or sushi bars offer plant-based selections.
Having a wide range of choices does not mean that all of the meu choices are delicious. Indeed, some meals are mundane at best. The key to a fantastic meal, then, is figuring out which restaurants have innovative chefs who use novel ingredients to create a superlative plant-based experience.
Our panelists will help guide us through an increasingly complex set of restaurant choices to help us select meals we’ll enjoy and remember. They’ll discuss trends in plant-based meals at restaurants, what to look for when choosing a plant-based restaurant, how to understand online menus that may not be exactly what they seem and how to make sure your meal is truly memorable. They may even give tips on their favourite hidden gems and when restaurants are likely to create special menus for limited periods of time. Join us to learn how to elevate your dining experience to new heights.
